John Kasich has signed a bill that will make Ohio the first state to legalize marijuana for recreational use, reports the Toledo Blade.
The bill, which still needs to be signed by the state Senate, would allow residents and visitors to possess up to an ounce of pot for recreational use.
It would also make Ohio the first state to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes, notes the AP.
Ohio already has legalized medical marijuana.
